Alan Miller An agile keeper signed on loan from Middlebrough in the relegation season to replace the somewhat 'fragile' Jason Pearcey. The idea was that we'd have him for the season. We didn't because WBA (just after Buckley was sacked) decided that they'd buy him. How nice of them! So, we went down.

Pity Miller didn't stay as we won 2 of the 3 games he played in. It was no coincidence that as soon as Miller departed, Town won just one game in eight with Pearcey in goal.

Next Player: Nigel Jemson
