Hodges Calls It A Day!

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 11/07/2002

FORMER Scunthorpe midfielder Lee Hodges has left Grimsby after just one day spent training at Blundell Park. The 24-year-old trialist was unable to agree on terms acceptable to both parties.

"I went down for a day and I did well and would have liked to have signed for them. But nothing is going to come of it unfortunately. They are struggling a bit with a few lads after new contracts and I didn't have much chance," the former Scunthorpe star revealed.
