A Message From Canada

I live in Grimsby, the Grimsby in Ontario, Canada and follow the Grimsby team faithfully as it participates in the first division.
However the team appears to be going in the same direction as the new stadium and that concerns me and all the people here in our town who would like to see your town fathers get their heads out of the clouds and come down to earth and start building a new stadium.
Sure a new stadium would cost a lot of money. However with the fishing industry being what it is today and all the other unknowns that keep rearing up their ugly heads it is nice to know that Grimsby is alive, vibrant and is a great place to bring new families home to! Grimsby should not be stagnant and sitting idely by, as nobody knows what the future holds!
We do know that progress can only be realized when dollars are spent to achieve the desired results and in the eyes of this fan "a winning attitude by all concerned is what is required" - the stadium and team give Grimsby recognition through a partnership with the fans and the community, and the community receives the much needed publicity to attract new industry and families to Grimsby.
Lets get it done! Canada wants Grimsby to be a winner!
For the record my name is William Charles Davies, a proud son of a Welshman named "Idris" from Rhyl who was a Grimsby football fan...and you get his vote too!
