Question of the Week

Who will go down?

Calling All Supporters!

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 05/10/2002

The Steering Group of the Grimsby Town Supporters Trust have been quietly carrying out the background tasks required to get things in motion with regards to the formation of a trust. Their preliminary work is almost completed and it is time now for you the supporters to become involved.

The Group are about to embark on a publicity drive for the public meeting that is planned. The public meeting will present the concept of the trust, why it is necessary and what it will do for you the supporters, Grimsby Town Football Club and football in the community.

They will be seeking individuals to form a working party, who will then move forward with the initial work that the Steering Group have done, and form the trust. Some initial aims and objectives have been put together, and will be presented at the public meeting.

The trust will belong to the supporters of Grimsby Town and each member will be accorded one vote making a truly democratic body aiming to serve the needs of the supporters and the Mariners.

The meeting is to be held on Nov 18th 2002 at The Memorial Hall, Cleethorpes - 7.30pm onwards.

Will You be there?

Will you be a part of the future of Grimsby Town Football Club?

Please respond to the poll on the Fishy and let us know if you are planning to attend".
