Rumour Mill In Full Swing!

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 06/02/2003

ONCE again the rumours abound regarding the mystery midfielder who Paul Groves is in talks with regarding a loan spell with the Mariners. But once again, Fishy readers have come up with the answer.

The mystery man is Stefan Schwarz of Sunderland!!

But wait! There's more!

It is also Jamie McClen (Newcastle United)

And it is also Mark Wilson (Middlesboro)

Which means that Paul Groves must be signing all three because Fishy readers are never wrong - or so they tell me.

The truth is that only Paul Groves knows and he is keeping it under wraps until the ink is on the paper. But what we can tell you is that it is a premiership player and an announcement will be made regarding the signing or non-signing either later today or tomorrow morning.

Groves has only a limited time to sign the player in time for Saturday so an agreement must be reached either today or tomorrow morning.

In the meantime be assured. Our readers will leave no stone unturned in searching for an answer.
