TOWN reserves defeated their Hull City counterparts are Blundell Park today, with both goals being scored by former City midfielder Graham Hockless, who has strengthed his chances to be in the squad for Saturday's tough-looking trip to Leicester.

With Richard Hughes and John McDermott both in doubt for the clash with the high-flying Foxes - in addition to long-term absentees Darren Barnard and Alan Pouton - Paul Groves will have to dig deep into has squad for the trip to the East Midlands. Michael Boulding's return to light training this week offered some consolation, however, and he is likely to feature in the game in some form.

Grimsby: Shaun Allaway, Iain Ward, Kevin George, Ashley Hildred, Kirk Wheeler, Greg Young, Jonny Rowan, Graham Hockless, Chris Thompson, Jake Sagare, Stephen Downes.
Subs: Giovanni Carchedi, Andy Pettinger, Chris Hyam, Mark Newton, Nick Hegarthy.
