Question of the Week

Who will go down?

Dunfermline Reject Anderson

IAIN Anderson has failed to earn a contract at Dunfermline after going on trial there earlier this week. The former Preston midfielder has returned to Blundell Park, where he has a year left on his contract. Whether the Scot tries to find another club remains to be seen.

Grimsby have also lined up two more trials for overseas strikers. Pole Tomasz Moskal from Tabela One and Italian Serie C1 forward Amadou Konte are to join the "foreign legion" currently hoping to earn a contract at Blundell Park, and are expected to feature in one or more pre-season games.

Town have an additional pre-season friendly at Halifax's Shay on Mon 2nd August (19.45). Their Lincs Cup game with Scunthorpe at Blundell Park has also been moved forward a day to 23rd July (19:45).
