Hockless Down Under?

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 11/05/2005

MARINERS' midfielder Graham Hockless may be heading for Australia in a bid to kick start his football career reports Mariners Net.

Russell Slade had talks with the 22 year old and told the Official Website: "I've now spoken to every single player and we now know how we stand.

"I've spoken to Graham Hockless and Graham is looking at his future - perhaps not even in this country, he has the intention of maybe going to Australia or somewhere like that."

And the Town boss says that he would like to give David Soames another chance to prove himself next season.

He said: "We've invited Digger Soames back for pre-season training. We haven't offered him a contract yet but we think that he deserves another chance."
