Extra Tickets - How To Get Yours!

By: GTFC
Date: 21/10/2005

The 228 additional seats have now been installed, with 54 'excellent' view seats in the Imperial Corner (Between the Pontoon & Lower Smith's) and 174 seats in the Harrington Corner (Between the Pontoon & Main Stand).

They are all open corner so fans are not protected from the elements. About half of the Harrington Corner Seats are slightly restricted view, with the PA Box & Police obscuring a part of the pitch, but I'll certainly say they're not too bad.

The price will be £17 per seat - with no concessions - as the price of installation of these additional seats doesn't make the issue of concessions viable.

The seats will be sold only to those fans who queued on Sunday 9th October 2005 and received the voucher 'FA Cup Round 4' from the ticket office - with numbers between 03201 to 03428 inclusive.

The sales will commence strictly on Saturday at half time (3.45pm) from 'inside the ground' - only for fans attending the game with the appropriate vouchers, who must transfer to the door next to the kiosk in the Lower Smith's open (Imperial) corner where they will be ushered through to the ticket office by stewards to purchase their Newcastle tickets on a strict 'one' voucher for 'one' seat basis.

After all the fans with the appropriate voucher who attend the Leyton Orient game have been tended to, the balance of seats remaining will go on sale to other supporters again with the appropriate voucher from Monday 24th October 2005 at 9.00am ONLY.

Hopefully, as genuine supporters, Grimsby Town hope that all 228 voucher holders will be attending on Saturday against Leyton Orient and will be satisfied accordingly.

The reason why we are issuing to fans who attend the Leyton game first & foremost is that if we decided to sell strictly after the game on Saturday, we feel there would be a long queue of fans queuing outside the GTFC ticket office whilst the game is in play within Blundell Park. This would be incredibly unfair to those fans WITH vouchers inside the ground watching the Town v Leyton match.

We cannot take telephone credit card bookings for these seats under any circumstances.

Grimsby Town apologise to any supporter issued with a voucher which doesn't fall within the allocated numbers above. Please retain your vouchers in case any other tickets become available.
