Question of the Week

TOWN's player of the season so far Rob Jones is to undergo a scan today to see the extent of the groin injury which forced him out of Saturday's game with Bristol Rovers. The likelihood is that the former Stockport defender requires an operation and may be missing for some time.

Simon Ramsden is likely to be Jones' replacement in the heart of defence, starting with Friday night's home game against Macclesfield.

Town midfielder Jean-Paul Kalala will also miss the match against the Silkmen after being called up for international duty with his homeland of DR Congo.

Grimsby badly need to record three points at home at the weekend after five straight defeats at Blundell Park.
