New Deals For Slade and Rodger

By: Bill Osborne
Date: 22/05/2006

GRIMSBY Town are close to agreeing a new deal with manager Russell Slade and Graham Rodger. Providing there are no last minute snags both Slade and Rodger will sign their 3 year contracts at the Sportsman's dinner tonight.

Slade's current two-year deal expires this summer and chairman John Fenty has been hoping that the new deal talks that have been going on for some months now have finally been successful.

Fans wanting to see the contract signing can get tickets for tonight's event at the McMenemy's Suite until 4pm, priced at £30 per person.

The ticket includes a three-course meal and entertainment from comedian Gary Marshall and Le Tissier.
