Black and White Stripes To Go?

By: Tony Hamilton
Date: 12/06/2006

GRIMSBY Town are going to announce the new home and away kit on Tuesday and rumours suggest that they are going to step back from having black and white strips and change it to black and white halves a la Blackburn.

The kit is going to be made by Nike and the shirt sponsor is going to be Young’s as the Fishy revealed a few weeks ago.

The last time Grimsby Town deviated from the traditional black and white stripes, the sponsors were Ciba and the kit supplies were Admiral. The picture shows the home shirt from that season, when Town were in the old Division One.
