Morecambe Game Postponed

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 19/02/2008

TODAY'S GAME between Morecambe and Grimsby in the Johnstone Paint Trophy has been postponed after a pitch inspection.

The match will be played on Tuesday, February 26, at Christie Park with the return leg on Tuesday, March 4, at Blundell Park. This means Grimsby will play three successive games against the Shrimps following Saturday's trip to Wrexham.

The pitch at Morecambe was frozen after a series of frosts on successive evenings. Their home game on Saturday with Shrewsbury was also postponed.
