ON only eight occassions in their history have Grimsby won by a greater margin away from home than they managed in today's 4-0 win at Morecambe. In total there have only been six bigger wins away from Blundell Park since the second world war.

The most notable of these in recent time is last season's six nil demolotion of Boston, which was Town's second greatest win in their history away from Blundell Park.
