GRIMSBY and Cambridge fought out a 1-1 draw last night at the Abbey Stadium. Both teams had chances before United struck midway through the first half with a tap-in from big striker Danny Wright. The lead didn't last long though as a good move by Town set up Eagle who levelled the game.

In the second half both teams went close, but they had to settle for a draw, which was probably a fair result.

The best thing to come from the game was the performance of Charles Ademeno, who managed 80 minutes, and looked the strong presence Town need up front, as well as showing some neat touches and a decent turn of pace.

A full match report will appear later....
