Luton v Grimsby Team News

TOWN are likely to stick with the same team which drew 0-0 with Crawley at Blundell Park on Saturday which will mean a second start for new signing Serge Makofo, playing up front.

Striker Lee Peacock is still suspended and knee injuries rule out fellow forward Charles Ademeno and winger Michael Coulson.

Town agreed a fee with Mansfield for striker Rob Duffy but the 28-year-old turned down the chance to play for the Mariners.

For Luton Andy Drury, Jason Walker (both hamstring), and Dan Gleeson (bruised leg) are all available after injuries.

But midfielder Charlie Henry (foot), Adam Newton (Achilles) and striker Amari Morgan-Smith (hamstring) are all doubtful.

The Hatters currently lie third and have not lost in 11 games at non-league level.

  • Grimsby are to offer a short-term deal to former Birmingham, Charlton and Hull midfielder Bryan Hughes, who is currently a free agent.
