Who will go down?

A Good Sign

I PERSONALLY believe the signings of the January window to have been a major asset to our promotion push. Paul Hurst kept his cards close to his chest in the build up to the window and he seems to have had an ace up his sleeves.

Some believe the signing of Stevenage's Oumare Tounkara was fortuitous however I believe it to have been a stroke of genius; he has already made a big impact, teaming up well with all of our strikers: John-Lewis, Hannah and Cook. Do you want him to be a target in the summer?

There was some talk of wanting a permanent signing, and we got one in the form of rock-solid Jamal Fyfield. ALthough I do not doubt Sam Hatton (when I see him he performs well), Fyfield has been the keystone of our defence; against a strong Cambridge side he held his own. It makes you wonder if it was a mistake by York to release him?

Unlike last year, we have not overdone things by signing excessive amounts of mediocre players on loan in chock-a-block positions, we have obviously planned the window well. The only problem is keeping the current squad as nearly all of the squad are out-of-contract at the end of the season, and if we don't get promotion I can see us losing some key figures.
