Local Plan Goes to Consultation

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 18/02/2015 (Last updated: 19/02/2015)

NE Lincs are undergoing a consultation for the part of the Local Plan which relates to Grimsby Town's proposed relcoation to Peakes Parkway. Residents are urged to have their say as the plan reflects the aspirations of the council and is driven partly by public opinion.

The Local Plan is a legally binding document that underpins planning decisions and policies. In order for Town's new ground to go ahead it needs to be in the local plan otherwise any planning application is bound to fail.

To respond to the consultaion online just complete this questionaiire. It should take no more than 5 minutes.

Note that anyone can have their say on the Local Plan - not just the residents of North East Lincolnshire.
