My Fishy

In a brand new service The Fishy is now providing a facility called "My Fishy". The service allows our readers to customise their own home page with headlines and links from any of 300 plus sports sites which currently make up the Rivals Network.

"My Fishy" allows you to select the following

  • Three sites you want to see the headlines from
  • Five Sites you want a quick link to
  • One site where you want to see the current Question of the Week

The service also allows you to download a photo of yourselves onto our server, and supply a few basic details about yourself such as your e-mail address, ICQ number, what town you live in, and who your favourite player is. You can also choose whether you want others to be able to see your homepage.

The best way to explain this new facility is by way of an example. Billo has constructed his own Home Page where he can view sites covering all his favourite sports and teams from right across the World, in the knowledge that each site is written by dedicated fans of whatever team or sport is covered.

The sites available are not confined to the UK, or even to the English language. You can currently add French and German football sites to your home page, and Spanish and Italian sites will follow shortly, as they become available on the Rivals Network.

Interested? All you have to do to get your own "My Fishy" homepage is complete the simple Application Form. Within a day or so we'll email you back the URL of your own unique home page, which we will have built for you and customised the way you chose it.

We'll also be enhancing the service shortly so that you will be able to change your homepage occasionally during the year (e.g. when the cricket season starts) to reflect seasonal variations in the sites that you most want to read.

Finally, those people who elected to on the Application Form will be added to a public list of on-line Town fans, whose pages, like Billo's will be available for anyone to see.

If there are any sites in the Rivals network not covered in the list (which includes all Football, Cricket, Formula One and Rugby Union sites), please let us know by sending an e-mail to Rob Sedgwick, who will provide you with instructions.
