Peter Morrison Latest

Peter Morrison underwent an operation to pin a double compound fracture of his left leg at Scunthorpe General Hospital before being moved to a specialist unit in Bradford. "Although in a great deal of pain" said Scunthorpe manager Brian Laws "he is getting the best treatment available"

"Peter faces a lengthy lay-off but he is young enough to be able to make a full recovery and everyone at the club will give him as much support as is possible."

Although Laws made no further comment on the tackle he is obviously still angry about the incident saying that it was up to Morrison to decide if he wanted to take things further. "If he wants to take legal action then that is a decision for him and him alone and the club will support him in any decision he makes.

"But whatever happens, the club will support him fully."
