The Fishy - Grimsby Town FC

Question of the Week

Where will Grimsby be next season?

Livvo Out for 3 Weeks

Town striker Steve Livingstone will be out for three weeks following a calf injury sustained in Saturday's game at Burnley. The six foot front man is currently Town's joint top scorer with 2 goals this season, as well as two notable misses in the last two games against Bolton and Burnley.

The news of Livingstone's injury comes as a major blow to manager Lennie Lawrence who has been desperately searching to bring a striker on loan over the last two weeks, rather than lose one of his few options to play up front.

Lawrence has favoured playing Livvo up front by are large in his handful of games in charge, rather than an "emergency" centre back as was more often the case under his predecessor Alan Buckley.

Livingstone will miss the leagues matches against Forest, Barnsley and Wolves, and both the Worthington Cup ties against Wolves.
