Lektonen Fact File

By: Jostein Jensen
Date: 30/09/2000

The latest foreign trialist to be linked with the Mariners is Danish player Carsten Lektonen. Jostein has compiled the following fact file on the 22-year-old defender who will arrive at Blundell Park in time to play in the reserve game against Stoke City on Wed 4th, along with the other trialists.

Jostein has access to information the rest of us can't read as he can understand Danish! He has been scouring the net for the low-down on Carsten Lektonen and this is what he has come up with.

Lektonen's biggest dream is to become a player in black and white stripes - a Newcastle player... Well he seems to be a great mate anyway. It seems for me as he is mainly used as a left-sided defender - but the facts tell that he likes his right leg better - I don't know if this is about football or just fashion...
