Grimsby Town striker Steve Livingstone spoke his piece today about the rest of the season and is looking to win every game from now reviving the Wembley spirit of three years ago. Pulling no punches, Livvo made clear his views on the remaining fixtures and the spirit in the Mariners camp.

"There's four games left and we want to win every game," Livvo told the Grimsby Telgraph today. "We've got so far up the ladder now we don't want to slide back down and we want to win every game, starting on Saturday against Sheffield United. "If we play like we have been I can't see why we can't win all our home games. I know they're tough, but we can do it, it's as simple as that."

"We don't think we are safe and we're all looking forward to Saturday's game. We want to win and the fans have been right behind us. "We want to keep that atmosphere at matches going and it would be great to have it again on Saturday."

"I think everybody has risen to the challenge and when you're under pressure you sometimes get people who hide or bottle it. We haven't had that."

"Everyone has really been up for it and not been frightened where in the past we might have been. "You can't put your finger on it. It just boils down to the 11and the subs doing their bit.

"On Saturday the fans were brilliant and they were at West Brom. After the game it was one of the best feelings we've had since Wembley." "The lads were buzzing because we knew how important it was."

Town went into the West Brom game as clear underdogs but that, said the striker, only served to drive them on to a thrilling 1-0 win.

"It would have been easy for us to go through the motions, but we all said we weren't going to do that. "We were at each other, psyching ourselves up in the dressing room and during the game. It was going on all over. It was taken the right way but everybody was so wound up."

Speaking about striker Luke Cornwall Livvos said "He's probably benefited from playing off a big man, but he reads it well and he's very awkward," said the Mariners' top scorer who added that the 20-year-old would be a good investment for the club. "He's taken his chances really well and when we've needed him to pull his finger out he's done it."

"He'd be a good buy for us. The manager's brought him in to score goals and he's done it."
