Question of the Week

Who will go down?

United Or You'll Cry!

WITH The Mighty Mariners gaining a mouthwatering draw against either of the top two sides in the country, the biggest question so far is who will it be? Every man and his dog will almost certainly wish for Man Utd, others are more hopeful of a game with the Gooners.

For the benefit of the club and the fans a tie against Manchester United will no doubt be more productive financially. Manchester is a short trip across the Pennines while the Gunners is more of a half day plod down the country and into North London.

We will of course have to wait until November the 7th to see who our opponents will be.

Which ever team it is, it will be another glorious day out for both players and fans alike.

Now the down side. Manchester United have a bigger capacity and will offer the Mariners somewhere in the region of 10,000 tickets, maybe more. Arsenal however, generally only offer a mere 2500 tickets for away supporters.

For the mighty army of Black and White clad travelling supporters, a draw against Arsenal doesn't now conjure up the same image.

As a Town fan I never thought this next sentence would ever pass my lips, but come the 7th of November I will be singing a new song: Glory glory Man Utd.....................
