Howard Foster (195.171.163.135)- Octo 15, 2001 - 05:05:10
Winterton, North Lincs [UK]
Grimsby Town desperately needs this new stadium to survive and prosper - the situation without it does not bear thinking about.

Peter Forrester (64.12.102.31)- Octo 15, 2001 - 04:51:38
Cleethorpes [U.K]
We need a stadium NOW!

Lee Woodcock (194.6.79.172)- Octo 15, 2001 - 04:16:12
Leeds [West Yorkshire]
The recent exposure of the town on the national media after the teams win at Liverpool, shows how important the Football Club is to the town. One way to ensure the club survives and the town continues to receive this exposure is the building of the new stadium.

Matthew Foster-Smith (62.254.220.33)- Octo 15, 2001 - 04:14:02
Cambridge [UK]
The existince of a high-quality football club such as grimsby provides valuable social, economic and promotional benefits to the area, and the new stadium is vital to it's long-term sustinance and development. Please don't jeopadise such a great asset to the town.

Anthony Wood (213.120.90.59)- Octo 15, 2001 - 04:01:40
Doncaster [South Yorkshire]
The new stadium (4 sides please!!!!) development must go ahead to secure the future of GTFC. It will also bring extra jobs and leisure activities for the people of Grimsby. I can see no grounds why the residents of Great Coates would object unless they are the 'not on my doorstep' brigade who do not give a damn about the rest of the community.

Emma Gillingham (195.153.113.200)- Octo 15, 2001 - 03:49:14
Huddersfield [W Yorks]
This new stadium must go ahead if GTFC is to survive an increasingly competitive and financially led industry.

Steff Keightley (62.254.0.4)- Octo 15, 2001 - 03:27:49
Leicester [UK]
Does the Council of NE Lincs and the Board have the Best for GTFC in Mind?
If so prove it by getting the Stadium built and allowing one of the best products of NE Lincs to grow and prosper into the asset that it can be to the county.

Matt Beer (62.254.0.4)- Octo 15, 2001 - 03:24:25
Leicester [United Kingdom]
The building of a new Stadium for Grimsby Town Football Club is vital to the future of the club and the economy within Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
The Chosen Site has been proved again and again as the only viable Site which this Stadium can be built in the area. Please see common sense and agree the plans to build the Stadium. The residents of Great Coates are being unfair in objecting to this Stadium claiming that would be degraing to the area, these people seem to forget they live within a commercial/industrial park.

David Wilkinson (213.122.30.23)- Octo 15, 2001 - 03:10:08
London [UK]
Grimsby Town football club puts the town itself on the map. It is in everyone's interest that it thrives and this cannot happen at Blundell Park - so it has to move. The Council's advisers appear to be of the view that there is only one suitable site. We should, therefore, move to Great Coates with minimum delay.

Chris Parker (62.6.98.115)- Octo 15, 2001 - 03:01:14
GRIMSBY [England]
It is imperative, not just for the football club but for the whole of North East Lincs that this project goes ahead. Everyone agrees that a new ground is needed, even the majority of the protestors, and all the research shows there is only ONE suitable spot.
For the sake of the area please give this project the green light which will give the whole of N.E. Lincs the shot in the arm it so badly needs.

Simon J Applegate LDBBA (212.30.11.55)- Octo 15, 2001 - 02:58:18
St Peter Port [GUERNSEY]
Without a new ground, it will only be a matter of time before Grimsby Town Football Club will fold, or at least have to merge, thereby destroying over 1oo years of fine footballing tradition.
We must not let our football club go the way of our fishing industry.
A new purpose built stadium would not only attract more local support, with improved facilities, we should also attract more away and neutral support. Perhaps then, the club will be run as the fans deserve it to be.

Bill Osborne (203.134.73.173)- Octo 14, 2001 - 11:46:58
Port Macquarie [Australia]
The new stadium is not only required for the future success of Grimsby Town FC. The total development will provide employment and will be an additional factor in the local social and sporting infrastructure.

Paul Robinson (193.128.25.11)- Octo 14, 2001 - 9:35:29
Singapore [Singapore]
While I now live in Singapore, I grew up in the area and have supported GTFC for over 25 years. I hope to be back in the UK in 2 years and see a rejuvinated Grimsby area led by a premier sporting venue.

steve wilkinson (194.191.169.72)- Octo 14, 2001 - 9:00:54
grimsby [england]
town are long overdue a new venue, why should we held to ransom by a few petty, selfish small minded great coates residents, get it sorted once and for all,so at least us true town fans no where gtfc`s future lies....come on the town....

Dave Smith (62.254.0.4)- Octo 14, 2001 - 7:20:37
Cleethorpes [England]
The very future of our football team will depend on the stadium being given the go ahead.Come on lets get it built NOW!!!!!!!!!

Graham Lewis (64.12.105.181)- Octo 14, 2001 - 6:41:38
Grimsby [UK]
Grimsby Town Football Club cannot continue trading at its present site without going out of business. And that would not be good for the town's community as a whole. All studies, independant ones included, all agree that the proposed site on land near to Great Coates is the only viable option, and therefore should go ahead. I just hope common sense prevails.

Alex Green (195.92.194.14)- Octo 14, 2001 - 6:32:51
Grimsby [England]
We need this ground to move forward if we dont get it our future looks very bleak indeed
UTM

Paul Forrester (205.188.195.56)- Octo 14, 2001 - 6:24:26
South River [USA]
Its in the interest of the town, the resident aneveryone associated with GTFC that a new ground be developed within the next couple of years.

colin&hazel carter (195.92.168.164)- Octo 14, 2001 - 6:17:15
grimsby [n.e.lincs]
it makes sense to have a new stadium,it wil bring revenue to the club, to enable us to survive & possibly premiership football.UTM

Richard Cole (194.6.2.151)- Octo 14, 2001 - 6:00:45
york [north yorks]
