TONY Crane is hoping to revive his career with a move away from Blundell Park. The former Sheffield Wednesday defender, who has fallen down the pecking order at Town, is looking for a move away from the club in a bid to resurrect his playing career.
Mariners boss Russell Slade explained: "Tony needs to be playing football and is looking for a move to further his career," he said.
"There has been a little bit of interest in Tony, York were one of the clubs. I am not sure if they are still interested," he added.
The 6ft 5ins centre-back signed a three-year deal during the summer of 2003 and will be out of contract next summer. p>
