LAST weekend was a weekend to forget as both Wrexham and Shrewsbury failed to beat their opponents, but Town made up for it with four good points over Easter - a big improvement over the Christmas period.

This weekend Grimsby travel to Accrington who are desperate to avoid the drop back to non-league football after 45 years in the wilderness. Stanley though have an excellent home record and are strong favourites to beat Town who effectively have only their pride and new contracts to play for. Nonetheless Town will be no pushovers and are worth considering to back for a win at 5/2.
Elsewhere in League Two Wrexham travel to Lincoln with both teams in poor form and looking for a win for opposite reasons. The Welsh Dragons have had two recent away wins at Bristol Rovers and Barnet, and could pick up a third at out-of-form City who are in danger of dropping out of the play-offs altogether. Wrexham can be backed at 10/3.
MK Dons and Darlington meet on Saturday with the Quakers needing a win to creep closer towards the play-off region. MK Dons had a dreadful Easter, but looked a strong side against the Mariners nonetheless. Darlington, however, are an outside bet to make it a trio of defeats for the franchised club and can be backed at 7/2.
