Question of the Week

Who will win League 2?

Dons Game Off Again

Date: 31/10/2000

The recent chaos caused by the weather has led to next Wednesday's game at Selhurst Park against Wimbledon to be postponed. Emergency repair work is required on underground electrical circuits at the ground.

This is the second time that the game has been postponed after the original date for the fixture in August could not met be met due to the international commitments of three Dons players. Lennie Lawrence at the time of the first postponement was delighted, as the fixture was to take place shortly after his appointment as the new Grimsby manager. The second postponement in contrast falls at a time when the fortune of the Mariners has improved with recent results yielding four wins in the last five league games for Town.
