Danny Coyne Hoping to Face Millers

WELSH 'keeper Danny Coyne is not ruling out playing for the Mariners on Friday night against Rotherham after being called up for Wales' fixture on Saturday against Belarus in Cardiff. Coyne, who was one of four 'keepers named in the squad, is not expected to play any part in the match itself.

Before heading off to tonight's training session with his fellow countrymen, the Prestatyn-born shot stopper revealed Wales manager Mark Hughes had already picked his team.

A decision had not been made yet as to whether he would be able to take part in Town's game against the Millers. "I'm going to meet up with them and take it from there", Coyne told Radio Humberside.

The Rotherham game is arguably once which Grimsby must win in order to stop their slip down the table. At the start of September the Mariners were kings for a day at the summit of the First Division, since when they have secured just 1 point from a possible 12 and slumped to twelth place.
