Chairman's Statement On Future Of Club Today

THE board of Grimsby Town Football Club brought forward their planned meeting for Thursday to Tuesday evening to discuss the club's current financial situation.
The board are looking to decide the way ahead for the club after the collapse of ITV Digital collapse. Mariners Net reports that an update on talks with the players was on the agenda with Mr Furneaux and manager Paul Groves having spoken to the contracted players at the club in a bid to re-negotiate their contracts.
A full statement from the Chairman, on behalf of the Board, will be issued this afternoon.
