Town Take On Trialists!

GRIMSBY Town have taken two more trialists on at the club reports Mariners Net. Loanee keeper Shaun Allaway's brother Ricky a defender from Basingstoke. He was with his twin-brother Shaun at home-town team Reading until last November.

A French 20 years old centre-back Arnaud le Francois has played for Caen and Rennes, and Sedan - the last two clubs being in the French First Division.

Nathan Fleetwood from Australia, is also in his second week of a two week trial with the Mariners and three young trialists ( all 16 ) and from Halifax Town are also being looked at. They are Aaron Leadbitter, Cameron Jerome and Ben Furness.

With Paul Groves having an eye for good players it is hoped that he has found some new young talent amongst this latest crop of trainees.
