Macca To Miss Season Start!

John McDermott is likely to miss the kick-off of the new season due to an injury to his leg that is reacting slowly to treatment and requires him to go to Lilleshall for more intensive treatment.
Macca told Mariners Net; "It aches a bit down the right of the leg. It's uncomfortable to move around, it's niggling away all the time."I just want it sorted out. My general fitness is not too bad though."
Other News
Trialists, Paolo Castellini and Alessandro Conticchio, who have been on trial with the Mariners at Blundell Park are unlikely to be kept on at Blundell Park according to Mariners Net.
