February Player of the Month

FEBRUARY was a memorable month for Grimsby. It was a month in which Town lost 6-0 and won 6-1, a month in which manager Paul Groves was sacked, and a month in which three precious wins were recorded. All you have to do no is pick the chief architect of those wins!

So here are the six nominations for February:

Phil Jevons
	Finally managed to get a regular place in the starting line-up during February, and picked up seven goals from midfield, including four against Barnsley that will be remembered long after the former Evertonian has left Blundell Park.	Phil Jevons Profile
Iain Anderson
	Has had a stop-start season, and never lived up to the early promise that his first few performances in a Grimsby shirt showed.	Iain Anderson Profile
Nick Daws
	In his second spell at the club, but has never managed to find the form of his first one earlier this season.	Nick Daws Profile
Mike Edwards
	Despite being harshly dropped from the first team in recent weeks, it's telling that Mike Edwards managed to pick up enough votes from the few games he played in to make the shortlist.	Mike Edwards Profile
Lee Thorpe
	Has looked good for the Mariners in most of the games he's played since arriving on loan, and many Town fans would like to see his loan spell from Orient made into a permanent signing.	Lee Thorpe Profile
Stacy Coldicott
	It's no coincidence that the return of "Pacy" Stacy coincided with three wins out of six games under Graham Rodger. With the former Baggie in the side, Town are undoubtedly a better team at the moment.	Stacy Coldicott Profile
