Wheeler follows striker Darren Mansaram, who left Blundell Park earlier this month to go on a month's loan to Halifax, where he scored in his second game against Forest Green.
Town: Fraser, Hyam, Bull, Lamb, Mumford, Howard, Hildred, Marcelle, Farrell, Hockless, Heggarty.
Subs: Ward, Smith, Ashton, Rock, Higgins.
