Slade Staying At Blundell Park - Fenty

TOWN chairman, John Fenty says that Russell Slade is going nowhere and that no approaches have been made to him by any other club despite recent speculation.
Talking to the Grimsby Telegraph, Mr Fenty said: "I can only re-iterate what I said earlier in the week in that I believe that Russell is going nowhere. He is contracted with us until at least the end of the season and hopefully he will be with us for a lot longer than that."
"Russell spoke to me this week and stressed his commitment to the club. He is trying to build the club and, as chairman, I believe that we need that continuity. If there was a change then we would only have to start again after coming so far and assembling a good squad."
