LAST week's prediction of a Barnet win at Blundell Park could not have been more wrong! That plus an early sending off for Chester at Boston meant it was a poor weekend from a betting point of view, but it was more than made up for by a 5-0 win for the Mariners.

This weekend Grimsby host Lincoln in a match that the bookies cannot split the sides with both teams being priced 6/4 to win. Avoid betting on this game!
The real issues - other than the pride for local stake at Blundell Park - are who will get the final two play-off places, and who will get relegated. The relegation battle is very close especially. Boston have to play Torquay (who are already relegated) at home and Wrexham (who are in good form but still down there) away. With Accrington and Macclesfield (both 2 points ahead of Boston) playing one another on Saturday at Accrington, it means Accrington must avoid defeat as their final games is MK Dons away. If Accrington lose at home on Saturday (where admittedly they have won their last 4 games), they could well go down. Their current price of 10/1 to get relegated is well worth a punt as Boston should beat Torquay at home on Saturday. Accrington getting relegated is still unlikely but I think the odds are better than 10/1.
At the other end of the table Shrewsbury, Bristol Rovers and Stockport are all fighting for the last two play-off places. Stockport look to have by far the easiest two fixtures and are 4/1 to get promoted.
