Lincoln Kick Off Moved

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 17/02/2009

GRIMSBY's game with Lincoln City at Blundell Park on Saturday, March 7 has been moved forward to 3pm after police had originally requested a noon kick-off. After discussions with both clubs a new kick-off time has been agreed with the police.

Town won the equivalent match 1-0 this year. The match at Sincil Bank between the clubs back in August Town almost won, but a late equaliser rescued a point for City.

  • In other news today former Town boss Russell Slade has left Yeovil "by mutual consent". Slade has been at Huish Park for 2.5 years after leaving the Mariners, and took Yeovil to the League One play-offs in his first season with the Glovers.
