Fishy Verdict:Former Brentford captain and 2007-2008 Player of the Year at Griffin Park who signed in June for the Mariners as a replacement for Nick Fenton. Made club captain at the start of his first season. Early impressions were that he is not a patch on Fenners, and it didn't take long for Heywood to be dropped not only as captain but altogether from the team. Currently a perennial bench warmer.
