Beat the Bookies: Week 14

LAST week is best not mentioned at all. There is no FA Cup this season. Any bets placed on it have been included in the tables but must never be spoken of. It never took place.

Here's the best League Two bets after the cup distractions we've had recently.
Northampton v Grimsby Northampton have been doing well at home recently, but Grimsby put in an improved performance in midweek and just might be about to spring an upset. Town's team looks like being a settled one for once and there are no suspensions. You can back Town at 9/2 with 888.com. Selection: Grimsby
Shrewsbury v Torquay Shrewsbury have definitely been wobbling recently and were beaten by Staines at home in the cup. Torquay on the other hand have improved hugely in recent games and have won their last two. Totesport's 7/2 on Torquay looks great value. Selection: Torquay 4/1
Barnet v Hereford Barnet have beaten Darlo in their last two home games, but now face Hereford, who have put together a solid set of results recently. Before the Darlo games Barnet had not been playing well so the 10/3 on offer for an away win might be worth pursuing. Selection: Hereford
Aldershot v Macclesfield Both sides have been pretty hit and miss and late and all three outcomes are not unlikely. The 7/2 on offer for an away win is well worth a look. Selection: Macclesfield
Bury v Notts County We say it every week. Oppose Notts County in every game and you will probably return a profit. This week Bury are 2/1. Selection: Bury
