One In, One Out

MIDFIELDER Michael Coulson has signed a two year deal with the Mariners after being released by Barnsley. Coulson has been attracting the attention of Darlington, but gave Town the nod where he had a successful loan spell last season.
One player who has been released by Town is striker Tommy Wright, who BSP rivals Darlington have signed from the Mariners. Wright, who used to play for Darlo, had signed an 18-month deal with Grimsby, but struggled with fitness while at Blundell Park and didn't really live up to his promise. It is not known whether Darlington have paid Grimsby a fee for Wright, or whether Town let him leave.
Meanwhile Town boss Neil Woods is hoping to make some more signings shortly.
