AFC Telford v Grimsby Team News

GRIMSBY are likely to try out some of the squad players who have not featured much in the bulk of the season in the fixture with Telford. The game will have no bearing on the situation at either end of the table with neither team able to go up or down.

Town have several players out of contract in the summer and the managers will be looking to next season and starting to plan who they want in their side for the forthcoming campaign.

Join manager Rob Scott told the Grimsby Telegraph: "Various people may disagree with who we pick, from players to supporters. But we know the players we want to be here with us next year after working every day with them in training. Sometimes you need to see them in games as well, because anybody can be what people term a 'midweek international' - someone who shines in training without the pressure. It's about replicating it on match-day when there is something riding on it."
