Chester v Grimsby Team News

GRIMSBY hope to make it five wins on the bounce at Chester and Paul Hurst once again has a full squad to pick from for the trip to the Welsh borders.

Hurst's biggest decision is whether to continue with the Palmer/Pittman partnership which worked well at Woking when both strikers found the net. The alternative is to recall striker Lenell John-Lewis who missed the Woking game through paternity leave. John-Lewis had previously been in something of a goal drought, so his recall is by no means a forgone conclusion even though Paul Hurst tends to favour the 25-year-old if he is fit.

Midtable Chester have pulled themselves away from the bottom four and they are in a fine run of form that they will want to continue even if there is not much else to play for. Steve Burr's side have won 4 games from 6, the same as Grimsby.

Town have a good record against City. The Mariners have won the last two games against the Blues and have only lost 4 matches out of the 13 which have taken place this century.
