Midfielder Signs on Loan

SUNDERLAND central midfielder Elliot Embleton has joined Town on loan until January 2019. The former England Under-20 International, now 19, has made two appearances for the Black Cats, but has been a regular in their U-23 side.
Durham-born Embleton has played for England in four different age groups and scored in the final for the 2017 Toulon Tournament against Scotland, a tournament which England went on to win.
Town have been a midfielder short since Elliott Whitehouse sustained his pre-season injury, so Embleton goes some way to plugging the gap.
