Grimsby v Port Vale Team News

MICHAEL Jolley is unlikely to change much for the Blundell Park game with Port Vale. Town finally ended their losing sequence with a win at Carlisle, but the Mariners are yet to win at Blundell Park in the league. The temptation must be to stick with a settled side.

John Welsh and Jordan Cook could recover from their injuries but if they do may have to work their way back into the team. Striker Harry Cardwell came on in injury time at Brunton Park but is unlikely to be promoted to a starting place.

Vale midfielder Manny Oyeleke (hamstring), and winger Cristian Montano (knee) both were injured in the midweek defeat to MK Dons. Fullback James Gibbons (hip) and striker Scott Quigley (thigh) are also ruled out.
