Grimsby v Colchester Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 22/10/2018

MICHAEL Jolley has no new injuries for the visit of Colchester to Blundell Park, and any changes would only be due to tactics or wanting to use fresher players straight after a weekend game. Three players still injured are Harry Davis, Harry Cardwell and Elliott Whitehouse.

Colchester midfielder Sammie Szmodics (leg) is rated doubtful.

Town have only lost one of the four games against the U's since returning to the Football League. However the Essex club are yet another team to face Grimsby in good form with 3 wins in the last 4 league games. Colchester are currently fifth and have only lost one game on the road.

Grimsby though are building a mini-run with 3 league matches undefeated and no goals conceded in any of them.
