Grimsby v MK Dons Team News

By: Rob Sedgwick
Date: 25/01/2019

ELLIOT Embleton is hoping to be available again for Saturday's game with MK Dons. The Mariners have had the worst possible start to the year losing all 5 games and are yet to score in 2019. Defender Danny Collins could also return against the Dons who Town beat at Blundell Park in the FA Cup.

Embleton, who is on a season-long loan from Sunderland missed the midweek loss at FGR due to a knock.

Keeper James McKeown serves the second game of his three-match suspension but left back Andrew Fox is available for what would be his final game before leaving Blundell Park for the USA. Striker Harry Cardwell and defender Akin Famewo are both doubts too as Michael Jolley struggles to re-find the form that won him manager of the month in December.

For MK Dons, defenders George Williams (hamstring) and Callum Brittain (tonsillitis) are both ruled out.
