Vernam Rejoins Mariners

CHARLES Vernam has rejoined the Mariners on a 3-year deal. Vernam left the club 3 years ago and since played for Burton, Lincoln and Bradford. The 26-year-old winger becomes the fifth summer signing, 4 of which have been attack-minded players so far.
The Lincolnshire-born winger scored 10 goals in 62 games when he was last here, and has also played as a striker.
Vernam told GTFC: "It’s great to be back. It feels like a long time coming but yeah, I’m really happy that it’s sorted and I can’t wait to be back out there and to see some familiar faces".
