Town to Face Brentford at Home

GRIMSBY will face Brentford at Blundell Park in the Carabao Cup, with a place in the Quarter Finals at stake, something Town have only managed once in 1979–80 when they lost to Wolves after two replays.
Town have knocked out Shrewsbury, Man Utd and Sheffield Wed so far, and will fancy their chances of another scalp against a Brentford side currently struggling in the Premier League.
The draw largely saw the big teams separated. The matches will take place on 28/29 October. There are no replays, and games proceed directly to penalties without extra time.
