News From 4th April 2000
Town stalwarts Billo and Swin enjoyed a great day at Blundell Park on Saturday as guests of match sponsers Nisa. The pair enjoyed a haddock lunch before the game, followed by a tour of the ground given by Town commercial manager Tony Richardson. They also met some of the players including Wayne Burnett and Steve Livingstone.
To top his day off, Billo, currently visiting the UK on a visit from Australia, won an autographed football in the half-time bonanza. Bill will probably auction off the football on the Fishy when he returns back to Australia
Bill said he was "overwhelmed.by the hospitality of GTFC". His only disappointment was that Town did not secure the three points he felt their performance deserved.
