Batty Makes Debut

New Zealand keeper Jason Batty made his first appearance for the Mariners in this afternoon's reserve game against Wigan. Batty made two good saves in a game where he was not called upon very much. The Mariners went onto win the get 1-0 with young striker Jonathan Rowan scoring the game's only goal

Danny Butterfield also made a comeback appearance after a fortnight out with a groin strain injury.
